Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Fayette County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
