You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
