Gtaw welder • Lucas County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Lucas County, Ohio. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
