Air conditioning service engineer • Kittitas County, Washington

Vacancy available: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Kittitas County, Washington. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. Ideal candidate: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Can read electrical and piping schematics Your main tasks: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Full-time with occasional weekends. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
