Furniture maker — Knox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Knox County, Maine. You will be based on a busy construction site. You will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
