We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Botetourt County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
