Urgent requirement: vertical milling machine operator (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Russell County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time with occasional weekends.
