Great opportunity: steel erection rigger (Wisconsin)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a power plant. Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
