Tig welder wanted in Lavaca County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Lavaca County, Texas. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
