Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Labette County, Kansas. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime You will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
