Safety officer — Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Washington County, Maine. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Part-time with flexible hours. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
