Urgent requirement: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Trafford, England. The job is at an accident repair centre. Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
