Tig welder — Asotin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Asotin County, Washington. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
