Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Waldo County, Maine. The job is in a bread factory. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Your main tasks: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Full-time, day shift.
