Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Howard County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
