Ladle pourer — Onondaga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Onondaga County, New York. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
