Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Pike County, Mississippi. You will work in a spray booth. The role involves apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Good eye for colour matching and blending At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
