Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Hampton County, South Carolina. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
