Argon arc welder • Dundee City, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Dundee City, Scotland. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
