Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Northumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Northumberland County, Virginia. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Meals and transport allowance provided.
