Machinist • Lincoln County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Lincoln County, North Carolina. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
