Urgent requirement: bodyshop painter (New Mexico)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Torrance County, New Mexico. The job is in a spray booth. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale On the job you will handle: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
