Great opportunity: site safety steward (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Franklin County, Virginia. Day to day you will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
