Brick mason wanted in Central Bedfordshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Central Bedfordshire, England. The job is on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
