Metal roofing fitter wanted in St. Helens

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in St. Helens, England. You will work at a roofing and cladding contractor. You should have: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience On the job you will handle: • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
