Argon arc welder wanted in Wabash County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Wabash County, Illinois. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Part-time with flexible hours.
