Reinforcement steel fixer — Seward County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Seward County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
