We are recruiting: brick and block layer (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 5+ years on the tools preferred.
