Painter — City of Charlottesville

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will work in a factory paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls You should have: • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
