Floor screeder — Metcalfe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor screeder in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. You will work on a road and bridge project. The role involves: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
