The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
