Gtaw welder • Dutsin Ma, Katsina State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Dutsin Ma, Katsina State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Six days a week, one day off.
