Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Osisioma Ngwa, Abia State. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Rotating shifts.
