You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
