Brick and block layer • Jahun, Jigawa State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Jahun, Jigawa State. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding We offer ₦1,000 per hour plus benefits.
