Industrial sewing operator — Williamsburg County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Part-time with flexible hours.
