Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kinney County, Texas. The job is on a high-rise building project. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On the job you will handle: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
