Sheet metal welder wanted in Red Willow County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Red Willow County, Nebraska. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,500 per project plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
