We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Dimmit County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates.
