Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Full-time with occasional weekends.
