Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required We offer $240 per day plus benefits.
