Brick and block layer wanted in Breathitt County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Breathitt County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
