Brickwork mason wanted in Moro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Moro, Kwara State. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time, day shift.
