Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
