Rebar fixer • Calhoun County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Calhoun County, Iowa. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
