Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State. The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Meals and transport allowance provided.
