Immediate opening: HGV driver (Maryland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Calvert County, Maryland. On a typical shift you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card • Current Driver CPC qualification card At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
