Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Borough of Swindon, England. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,050 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
