Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. You will work on the press shop floor. The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
