Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Aroostook County, Maine. On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
